HomeMy Public PortalAbout07022 O R D I N A N C E NO. 7022 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Seven Hundred Fifteen Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($715,500.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Deer Creek to be used for project costs for the construction of storm sewers in 8900 Powell Avenue Phase I (S-2279, C-1292), in the City of Brentwood, Missouri. WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of storm sewers is Six Hundred Fifty-eight Thousand One Hundred Twelve Dollars ($658,112.00), and the cost of inspection, construction staking, advertisement costs, easement charges, and allowance for construction change orders is Fifty-seven Thousand Three Hundred Eighty-eight Dollars ($57,388.00), and WHEREAS, the State of Missouri has agreed to contribute Two Hundred Thirty-eight Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($238,500.00) toward the total costs of said project; upon the receipt of such funds from said source, said money will be returned to the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Deer Creek, and WHEREAS, the City of Brentwood, Missouri, has agreed to contribute Two Hundred Thirty-eight Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($238,500.00) toward the total costs of said project; upon the receipt of such funds from said source, said money will be returned to the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Deer Creek, and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation incurred herein, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of Seven Hundred Fifteen Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($715,500.00) is hereby appropriated from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Deer Creek to be used for project costs for the construction of storm sewers in 8900 Powell Avenue Phase I (S-2279, C-1292), in the City of Brentwood, Missouri. Section Two. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted March 11, 1987. -2-
