AN ORDINANCE, appropriating One Hundred Sixteen
Thousand One Hundred Dollars ($116,100.00) from the Operation,
Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Maline Creek to
be used for project costs for the construction of storm sewers in
Sapphire Ave. 5500 Block (S-2388, C-1282), in the City of
Jennings, Missouri.
WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of storm sewers
is One Hundred Six Thousand One Hundred Six Dollars ($106,106.00),
and the cost of inspection, construction staking, advertisement
costs, easement charges, and allowance for construction change
orders is Nine Thousand Nine Hundred Ninety-four Dollars
($9,994.00), and
WHEREAS, the State of Missouri has agreed to contribute
Thirty-eight Thousand Seven Hundred Dollars ($38,700.00) toward
the total costs of said project; upon the receipt of such funds
from said source, said money will be returned to the Operation,
Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Maline Creek, and
WHEREAS, the City of Jennings, Missouri, pursuant to
the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974, has agreed to
contribute Thirty-eight Thousand Seven Hundred Dollars
($38,700.00) toward the total costs of said project; upon the
receipt of such funds from said source, said money will be
returned to the Operation, Maintenance and Construction
Improvement Fund of Maline Creek, and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that
there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund
sufficient to pay the obligation incurred herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of One Hundred Sixteen Thousand
One Hundred Dollars ($116,100.00) is hereby appropriated from the
Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Maline
Creek to be used for project costs for the construction of storm
sewers in Sapphire Ave. 5500 Block (S-2388, C-1282), in the City
of Jennings, Missouri.
Section Two. This ordinance, being an appropriation
ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted March 11, 1987.
