HomeMy Public PortalAbout07026 O R D I N A N C E NO. 7026 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Forty-four Thousand One Hundred Dollars ($44,100.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Deer Creek to be used for project costs for the construction of storm sewers in Borcherding 12336 Storm Sewer Project (S-2399, C-1287), in the City of Des Peres, Missouri. WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of storm sewers is Forty Thousand Seven Hundred Twenty-eight and 35/100 Dollars ($40,728.35), and the cost of inspection, construction staking, advertisement costs, easement charges, and allowance for construction change orders is Three Thousand Three Hundred Seventy-one and 65/100 Dollars ($3,371.65), and WHEREAS, the State of Missouri has agreed to contribute Fourteen Thousand Seven Hundred Dollars ($14,700.00) toward the total costs of said project; upon the receipt of such funds from said source, said money will be returned to the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Deer Creek, and WHEREAS, the City of Des Peres, Missouri, has agreed to contribute Fourteen Thousand Seven Hundred Dollars ($14,700.00) toward the total costs of said project; upon the receipt of such funds from said source, said money will be returned to the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Deer Creek, and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation incurred herein, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of Forty-four Thousand One Hundred Dollars ($44,100.00) is hereby appropriated from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Deer Creek to be used for project costs for the construction of storm sewers in Borcherding 12336 Storm Sewer Project (S-2399, C-1287), in the City of Des Peres, Missouri. Section Two. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted March 11, 1987. -2-
