AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Twenty-four Thousand Four
Hundred Fifty Dollars ($24,450.00) from the Operation, Maintenance
and Construction Improvement Fund of Coldwater Creek to be used for
project costs for the construction of storm sewers in Cherryvale &
Undercliff (S-1664, C-1297), in the City of Hazelwood, Missouri.
WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of storm sewers is
Twenty Thousand Eight Hundred Eighty-three Dollars ($20,883.00),
and the cost of inspection, construction staking, advertisement
costs, easement charges, and allowance for construction change
orders is Three Thousand Five Hundred Sixty-seven Dollars
($3,567.00), and
WHEREAS, the State of Missouri has agreed to contribute
Eight Thousand One Hundred Fifty Dollars ($8,150.00) toward the
total costs of said project; upon the receipt of such funds from
said source, said money will be returned to the Operation,
Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Coldwater Creek,
and
WHEREAS, the City of Hazelwood, Missouri, has agreed to
contribute Eight Thousand One Hundred Fifty Dollars ($8,150.00)
toward the total costs of said project; upon the receipt of such
funds from said source, said money will be returned to the
Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of
Coldwater Creek, and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there
is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to
pay the obligation incurred herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Twenty-four Thousand Four
Hundred Fifty Dollars ($24,450.00) is hereby appropriated from the
Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of
Coldwater Creek to be used for project costs for the construction
of storm sewers in Cherryvale & Undercliff (S-1664, C-1297), in the
City of Hazelwood, Missouri.
Section Two. This ordinance, being an appropriation
ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted March 11, 1987.
