HomeMy Public PortalAbout07030 O R D I N A N C E NO. 7030 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating One Hundred Sixty-two Thousand Dollars ($162,000.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Deer Creek to be used for project costs for the construction of storm sewers in Foote & Hammel - Phase I & II (S-2015, C-1288), in the City of Webster Groves, Missouri. WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of storm sewers is One Hundred Fifty-one Thousand One Hundred One and 60/100 Dollars ($151,101.60), and the cost of inspection, construction staking, advertisement costs, easement charges, and allowance for construction change orders is Ten Thousand Eight Hundred Ninety- eight and 40/100 Dollars ($10,898.40), and WHEREAS, the State of Missouri has agreed to contribute Fifty-four Thousand Dollars ($54,000.00) toward the total costs of said project; upon the receipt of such funds from said source, said money will be returned to the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Deer Creek, and WHEREAS, the City of Webster Groves, Missouri, has agreed to contribute Fifty-four Thousand Dollars ($54,000.00) toward the total costs of said project; upon the receipt of such funds from said source, said money will be returned to the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Deer Creek, and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation incurred herein, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of One Hundred Sixty-two Thousand Dollars ($162,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Deer Creek to be used for project costs for the construction of storm sewers in Foote & Hammel - Phase I & II (S-2015, C-1288), in the City of Webster Groves, Missouri. Section Two. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted March 11, 1987. -2-
