AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Three Hundred Eighty-seven
Thousand Dollars ($387,000.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and
Construction Improvement Fund of Coldwater Creek to be used for
project costs for the construction of storm sewers in Eminence and
St. Louis (85039), in the City of St. John, Missouri.
WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of storm sewers
is Three Hundred Fifty-nine Thousand Eight Hundred Eighty-two
Dollars ($359,882.00), and the cost of inspection, construction
staking, advertisement costs, easement charges, and allowance for
construction change orders is Twenty-seven Thousand One Hundred
Eighteen Dollars ($27,118.00), and
WHEREAS, the State of Missouri has agreed to contribute
One Hundred Twenty-nine Thousand Dollars ($129,000.00) toward the
total costs of said project; upon the receipt of such funds from
said source, said money will be returned to the Operation,
Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Coldwater Creek,
and
WHEREAS, the City of St. John, Missouri, pursuant to
the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974, has agreed to
contribute One Hundred Twenty-nine Thousand Dollars ($129,000.00)
toward the total costs of said project; upon the receipt of such
funds from said source, said money will be returned to the
Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of
Coldwater Creek, and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that
there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund
sufficient to pay the obligation incurred herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Three Hundred Eighty-seven
Thousand Dollars ($387,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the
Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of
Coldwater Creek to be used for project costs for the construction
of storm sewers in Eminence and St. Louis (85039), in the City of
St. John, Missouri.
Section Two. This ordinance, being an appropriation
ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted March 11, 1987.
