AN ORDINANCE, appropriating One Hundred Seventy-five
Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($175,500.00) from the Operation,
Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Vinita Park to be
used for project costs for the construction of storm sewers in
Korea South Gulf Storm Sewer Project (S-1035, C-1298), in the City
of Vinita Park, Missouri.
WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of storm sewers
is One Hundred Thirty Thousand Eight Hundred Eighty-seven Dollars
($130,887.00), and the cost of inspection, construction staking,
advertisement costs, easement charges, and allowance for
construction change orders is Forty-four Thousand Six Hundred
Thirteen Dollars ($44,613.00), and
WHEREAS, the State of Missouri has agreed to contribute
Fifty-eight Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($58,500.00) toward the
total costs of said project; upon the receipt of such funds from
said source, said money will be returned to the Operation,
Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Vinita Park, and
WHEREAS, the City of Vinita Park, Missouri, pursuant to
the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974, has agreed to
contribute Fifty-eight Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($58,500.00)
toward the total costs of said project; upon the receipt of such
funds from said source, said money will be returned to the
Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Vinita
Park, and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that
there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund
sufficient to pay the obligation incurred herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of One Hundred Seventy-five
Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($175,500.00) is hereby appropriated
from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund
of Vinita Park to be used for project costs for the construction
of storm sewers in Korea South Gulf Storm Sewer Project (S-1035,
C-1298), in the City of Vinita Park, Missouri.
Section Two. This ordinance, being an appropriation
ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted March 11, 1987.
