AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Eight Hundred Sixty-five
Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($865,500.00) from the Operation,
Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Coldwater Creek
to be used for project costs for the construction of storm sewers
in Wright Avenue - St. Charles Rock Rd. - Dawson Creek (S-2281, C-
1305), in the City of St. Ann, Missouri.
WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of storm sewers
is Seven Hundred Twenty-seven Thousand Eight Hundred Thirty-eight
and 60/100 Dollars ($727,838.60), and the cost of engineering,
inspection, construction staking, advertisement costs, easement
charges, and allowance for construction change orders is One
Hundred Thirty-seven Thousand Six Hundred Sixty-one and 40/100
Dollars ($137,661.40), and
WHEREAS, the State of Missouri has agreed to contribute
Two Hundred Forty Thousand Dollars ($240,000.00) toward the total
costs of said project; upon the receipt of such funds from said
source, said money will be returned to the Operation, Maintenance
and Construction Improvement Fund of Coldwater Creek, and
WHEREAS, the City of St. Ann, Missouri, has agreed to
contribute Three Hundred Twelve Thousand Seven Hundred Fifty
Dollars ($312,750.00) toward the total costs of said project; upon
the receipt of such funds from said source, said money will be
returned to the Operation, Maintenance and Construction
Improvement Fund of Coldwater Creek, and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that
there is an unencumbered balance in the above named fund
sufficient to pay the obligation incurred herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Eight Hundred Sixty-five
Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($865,500.00) is hereby appropriated
from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund
of Coldwater Creek to be used for project costs for the
construction of storm sewers in Wright Avenue - St. Charles Rock
Rd. - Dawson Creek (S-2281, C-1305), in the City of St. Ann,
Missouri.
Section Two. This ordinance, being an appropriation
ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted March 11, 1987.
