HomeMy Public PortalAbout07046 O R D I N A N C E NO. 7046 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating One Hundred Eighty-three Thousand Seven Hundred Fifty Dollars ($183,750.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Wedgewood Creek to be used for project costs for the construction of storm sewers in Wedgewood Creek Sec. IV, Phase I (86078), in St. Louis County, Missouri. WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of storm sewers is One Hundred Seventy-one Thousand Seven Hundred Eleven Dollars ($171,711.00), and the cost of inspection, construction staking, advertisement costs, easement charges, and allowance for construction change orders is Twelve Thousand Thirty-nine Dollars ($12,039.00), and WHEREAS, the State of Missouri has agreed to contribute Sixty-one Thousand Two Hundred Fifty Dollars ($61,250.00) toward the total costs of said project; upon the receipt of such funds from said source, said money will be returned to the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Wedgewood Creek, and WHEREAS, St. Louis County, Missouri, has agreed to contribute Sixty-one Thousand Two Hundred Fifty Dollars ($61,250.00) toward the total costs of said project; upon the receipt of such funds from said source, said money will be returned to the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Wedgewood Creek, and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation incurred herein, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of One Hundred Eighty-three Thousand Seven Hundred Fifty Dollars ($183,750.00) is hereby appropriated from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Wedgewood Creek to be used for project costs for the construction of storm sewers in Wedgewood Creek Sec. IV, Phase I (86078), in St. Louis County, Missouri. Section Two. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
