HomeMy Public PortalAbout07050 O R D I N A N C E NO. 7050 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Three Hundred Twenty-seven Thousand Dollars ($327,000.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Wellston to be used for project costs for the construction of storm sewers in Engelholm Avenue 1800 Block (86121), in the City of Pagedale, Missouri. WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of storm sewers is Three Hundred Five Thousand Four Hundred Seventy-two Dollars ($305,472.00), and the cost of inspection, construction staking, advertisement costs, easement charges, and allowance for construction change orders is Twenty-one Thousand Five Hundred Twenty-eight Dollars ($21,528.00), and WHEREAS, the State of Missouri has agreed to contribute One Hundred Nine Thousand Dollars ($109,000.00) toward the total costs of said project; upon the receipt of such funds from said source, said money will be returned to the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Wellston, and WHEREAS, the City of Pagedale, Missouri, pursuant to the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974, has agreed to contribute One Hundred Nine Thousand Dollars ($109,000.00) toward the total costs of said project; upon the receipt of such funds from said source, said money will be returned to the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Wellston, and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation incurred herein, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of Three Hundred Twenty-seven Thousand Dollars ($327,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Wellston to be used for project costs for the construction of storm sewers in Engelholm Avenue 1800 Block (86121), in the City of Pagedale, Missouri. Section Two. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted March 11, 1987. -2-
