AN ORDINANCE, appropriating One Hundred Seventy-seven
Thousand Dollars ($177,000.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and
Construction Improvement Fund of Fountain Creek to be used for
project costs for the construction of storm sewers in Williams and
New Florissant (S-1537, C-1283), in the City of Calverton Park,
Missouri.
WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of storm sewers is
One Hundred Sixty-three Thousand Eight Hundred Seventy-five and
60/100 Dollars ($163,875.60), and the cost of inspection,
construction staking, advertisement costs, easement charges, and
allowance for construction change orders is Thirteen Thousand One
Hundred Twenty-four and 40/100 Dollars ($13,124.40), and
WHEREAS, the State of Missouri has agreed to contribute
Fifty-nine Thousand Dollars ($59,000.00) toward the total costs of
said project; upon the receipt of such funds from said source, said
money will be returned to the Operation, Maintenance and
Construction Improvement Fund of Fountain Creek, and
WHEREAS, the City of Calverton Park, Missouri, has agreed
to contribute Fifty-nine Thousand Dollars ($59,000.00) toward the
total costs of said project; upon the receipt of such funds from
said source, said money will be returned to the Operation,
Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Fountain Creek,
and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there
is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to
pay the obligation incurred herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of One Hundred Seventy-seven
Thousand Dollars ($177,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the
Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of
Fountain Creek to be used for project costs for the construction of
storm sewers in Williams and New Florissant (S-1537, C-1283), in
the City of Calverton Park, Missouri.
Section Two. This ordinance, being an appropriation
ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted March 11, 1987.
