AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Two Hundred Thirty-two
Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($232,500.00) from the Operation,
Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Gravois Creek to
be used for project costs for the construction of storm sewers in
Gravois & Althea Phase I (85133), in St. Louis County, Missouri.
WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of storm sewers
is Two Hundred Eighteen Thousand One Hundred Twenty-four Dollars
($218,124.00), and the cost of inspection, construction staking,
advertisement costs, easement charges, and allowance for
construction change orders is Fourteen Thousand Three Hundred
Seventy-six Dollars ($14,376.00), and
WHEREAS, the State of Missouri has agreed to contribute
Seventy-seven Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($77,500.00) toward
the total costs of said project; upon the receipt of such funds
from said source, said money will be returned to the Operation,
Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Gravois Creek,
and
WHEREAS, St. Louis County, Missouri, has agreed to
contribute Seventy-seven Thousand Five Hundred Dollars
($77,500.00) toward the total costs of said project; upon the
receipt of such funds from said source, said money will be
returned to the Operation, Maintenance and Construction
Improvement Fund of Gravois Creek, and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that
there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund
sufficient to pay the obligation incurred herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Two Hundred Thirty-two
Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($232,500.00) is hereby appropriated
from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund
of Gravois Creek to be used for project costs for the construction
of storm sewers in Gravois & Althea Phase I (85133), in St. Louis
County, Missouri.
Section Two. This ordinance, being an appropriation
ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted March 25, 1987.
