HomeMy Public PortalAbout07067 O R D I N A N C E NO. 7067 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Two Hundred Six Thousand One Hundred Dollars ($206,100.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Gravois Creek to be used for project costs for the construction of storm sewers in Banbury Court Phase I and Phase II (85130), in the City of Crestwood, Missouri. WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of storm sewers is One Hundred Ninety Thousand Three Hundred Eleven Dollars ($190,311.00), and the cost of inspection, construction staking, advertisement costs, easement charges, and allowance for construction change orders is Fifteen Thousand Seven Hundred Eighty-nine Dollars ($15,789.00), and WHEREAS, the State of Missouri has agreed to contribute Sixty-eight Thousand Seven Hundred Dollars ($68,700.00) toward the total costs of said project; upon the receipt of such funds from said source, said money will be returned to the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Gravois Creek, and WHEREAS, the City of Crestwood, Missouri, has agreed to contribute Sixty-eight Thousand Seven Hundred Dollars ($68,700.00) toward the total costs of said project; upon the receipt of such funds from said source, said money will be returned to the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Gravois Creek, and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation incurred herein, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of Two Hundred Six Thousand One Hundred Dollars ($206,100.00) is hereby appropriated from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Gravois Creek to be used for project costs for the construction of storm sewers in Banbury Court Phase I and Phase II (85130), in the City of Crestwood, Missouri. Section Two. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted March 25, 1987. -2-
