AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Two Hundred Sixteen
Thousand Dollars ($216,000.00) from the Mississippi River
Operating Fund to be used for project costs for the construction
of storm sewers in Forest-McKibbon (S-1727, C-1278), in the City
of Charlack, Missouri.
WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of storm sewers
is One Hundred Ninety-six Thousand Four Hundred Forty-seven
Dollars ($196,447.00), and the cost of inspection, construction
staking, advertisement costs, easement charges, and allowance: for
construction change orders is Nineteen Thousand Five Hundred
Fifty-three Dollars ($19,553.00), and
WHEREAS, the State of Missouri has agreed to contribute
Sixty-two Thousand Three Hundred Seventy-seven Dollars
($62,377.00) toward| the total costs of said project; upon the
receipt of such funds from said source, said money will be
returned to the Mississippi River Operating Fund, and
WHEREAS, the City of Charlack, Missouri, pursuant to
the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974, has agreed| to
contribute Sixty-Two Thousand Three Hundred Seventy-seven Dollars
($62,377.00) toward the total costs of said project; upon the
receipt of such funds from said source, said money will be
returned to the Mississippi River Operating Fund, and
WHEREAS, the Missouri Highway and Transportation
Commission has agreed. to contribute Twenty-eight Thousand Eight
Hundred Sixty-eight Dollars ($28,868.00) toward the total costs of
said project; upon the receipt of such funds from said source,
said money will be returned to the Mississippi River Operating
Fund, and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that
there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund
sufficient to pay the obligation incurred herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Two Hundred Sixteen Thousand
Dollars ($216,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Mississippi
River Operating Fund to be used for project costs for the
construction of storm sewers in Forest-McKibbon (S-1727, C-1278),
in the City of Charlack, Missouri.
Section Two. This ordinance, being an appropriation
ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted March 25, 1987.
