AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Twenty-two Thousand Two
Hundred Dollars ($22,200.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and
Construction Improvement Fund of Coldwater Creek to be used for
project costs for the construction of storm sewers in McGuire Lane
No. 7101 (85230), in the City of Hazelwood, Missouri.
WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of storm sewers
is Nineteen Thousand Five Hundred Sixty-seven and 25/100 Dollars
($19,567.25), and the cost of inspection, construction staking,
advertisement costs, easement charges, and allowance for
construction change orders is Two Thousand Six Hundred Thirty-two
and 75/100 Dollars ($2,632.75), and
WHEREAS, the State of Missouri has agreed to contribute
Seven Thousand Four Hundred Dollars ($7,400.00) toward the total
costs of said project; upon the receipt of such funds from said
source, said money will be returned to the Operation, Maintenance
and Construction Improvement Fund of Coldwater Creek, and
WHEREAS, the City of Hazelwood, Missouri, has agreed to
contribute Seven Thousand Four Hundred Dollars ($7,400.00) toward
the total costs of said project; upon the receipt of such funds
from said source, said money will be returned to the Operation,
Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Coldwater Creek,
and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that
there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund
sufficient to pay the obligation incurred herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Twenty-two Thousand Two
Hundred Dollars ($22,200.00) is hereby appropriated from the
Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of
Coldwater Creek to be used for project costs for the construction
of storm sewers in McGuire Lane No. 7101 (85230), in the City of
Hazelwood, Missouri.
Section Two. This ordinance, being an appropriation
ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted March 25, 1987.
