AN ORDINANCE, appropriating One Hundred Nine Thousand
Five Hundred Dollars ($109,500.00) from the General Fund of the
District for the State of Missouri's share of project cost for the
construction of storm sewers in Chesterfield Valley Phase I
Culvert "B" (S-2354, C-1304), in St. Louis County, Missouri.
WHEREAS, the funds herein appropriated represent an
advancement of money to be received by the District from the State
of Missouri pursuant to the State of Missouri Stormwater Program,
and
WHEREAS, the total cost of said project is Four Hundred
Thirty-eight Thousand Dollars ($438,000.00), and
WHEREAS, the State of Missouri has agreed to contribute
One Hundred Nine Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($109,500.00)
toward the total cost of said project; upon the receipt of such
funds from said source, said money will be returned to the General
Fund of the District, and
WHEREAS, St. Louis County, Missouri has agreed to
contribute in-kind services in the amount of Three Hundred Twenty-
eight Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($328,500.00) toward the total
cost of said project,
WHEREAS, since the project is located in the annexed
area of the District, the District will not provide any funds
toward the cost of said stormwater project, and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that
there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund
sufficient to pay the obligation incurred herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of One Hundred Nine Thousand Five
Hundred Dollars ($109,500.00) is hereby appropriated from the
General Fund of the District for the State of Missouri's share of
the project cost for the construction of storm sewers in
Chesterfield Valley Phase I Culvert "B" (S-2354, C-1304), in St.
Louis County, Missouri.
Section Two. This ordinance, being an appropriation
ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted March 25, 1987.
