HomeMy Public PortalAbout07089 O R D I N A N C E NO. 7089 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating One Hundred Ninety-six Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($196,500.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Gravois Creek to be used for project costs for the construction of storm sewers in Camelia-Bridle Storm Sewer (S-2179, C-1302), in the City of Webster Groves, Missouri. WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of storm sewers is One Hundred Sixty Thousand One Hundred Ninety-two Dollars ($160,192.00), and the cost of engineering, inspection, construction staking, advertisement costs, easement charges, and allowance for construction change orders is Thirty-six Thousand Three Hundred Eight Dollars ($36,308.00), and WHEREAS, the State of Missouri has agreed to contribute Sixty-five Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($65,500.00) toward the total costs of said project; upon the receipt of such funds from said source, said money will be returned to the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Gravois Creek, and WHEREAS, the City of Webster Groves, Missouri, has agreed to contribute Sixty-five Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($65,500.00) toward the total costs of said project; upon the receipt of such funds from said source, said money will be returned to the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Gravois Creek, and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation incurred herein, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of One Hundred Ninety-six Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($196,500.00) is hereby appropriated from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Gravois Creek to be used for project costs for the construction of storm sewers in Camelia-Bridle Storm Sewer (S-2179, C-1302), in the City of Webster Groves, Missouri. Section Two. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted March 25, 1987. -2-
