AN ORDINANCE, transferring Eighteen Thousand Seven
Hundred Fifty Dollars ($18,750.00) from the Mississippi River
Operating Fund to the Operation, Maintenance and Construction
Improvement Fund of Loretta-Joplin, and appropriating Three
Hundred Eighty-six Thousand Two Hundred Fifty Dollars
($386,250.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction
Improvement Fund of Loretta-Joplin to be used for project costs
for the construction of storm sewers in West Felton & Arlee (S-
1704, C-1294), in St. Louis County, Missouri.
WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of storm sewers
is Three Hundred Sixty-three Thousand Two Hundred Eighty-eight
Dollars ($363,288.00) and the cost of inspection, construction
staking, advertisement costs, easement charges, and allowance for
construction change orders is Twenty-two Thousand Nine Hundred
Sixty-two Dollars ($22,962.00), and
WHEREAS, the State of Missouri has agreed to contribute
One Hundred Twenty-eight Thousand Seven Hundred Fifty Dollars
($128,750.00) toward the total costs of said project; upon the
receipt of such funds from said source, said money will be
returned to the Operation, Maintenance and Construction
Improvement Fund of Loretta-Joplin, and
WHEREAS, St. Louis County, Missouri, pursuant to the
Housing and Community Development Act of 1974, has agreed to
contribute One Hundred Twenty-eight Thousand Seven Hundred Fifty
Dollars ($128,750.00) toward the total costs of said project; upon
the receipt of such funds from said source, said money will be
returned to the Operation, Maintenance and Construction
Improvement Fund of Loretta-Joplin, and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that
there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund
sufficient to pay the obligation incurred herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Eighteen Thousand Seven
Hundred Fifty Dollars ($18,750.00) is hereby transferred from the
Mississippi River Operating Fund to the Operation, Maintenance and
Construction Improvement Fund of Loretta-Joplin.
Section Two. The sum of Three Hundred Eighty-six
Thousand Two Hundred Fifty Dollars ($386,250.00) is hereby
appropriated from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction
Improvement Fund of Loretta-Joplin to be used for project costs
for the construction of storm sewers in West Felton & Arlee (S-
1704, C-1294), in St. Louis County, Missouri.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation
ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted March 25, 1987.
