HomeMy Public PortalAbout07103 O R D I N A N C E NO. 7103 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating One Hundred Twenty-three Thousand Dollars ($123,000.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Deer Creek to be used for project costs for the construction of storm sewers in North Sappington Road No. 309 (S-2220, C-1291), in the City of Glendale, Missouri. WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of storm sewers is One Hundred Four Thousand Five Hundred Twenty-two Dollars ($104,522.00), and the cost of engineering, inspection, construction staking, advertisement costs, easement charges, and allowance for construction change orders is Eighteen Thousand Four Hundred Seventy-eight Dollars ($18,478.00), and WHEREAS, the State of Missouri has agreed to contribute Forty-one Thousand Dollars ($41,000.00) toward the total costs of said project; upon the receipt of such funds from said source, said money will be returned to the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Deer Creek, and WHEREAS, the City of Glendale, Missouri, has agreed to contribute Forty-one Thousand Dollars ($41,000.00) toward the total costs of said project; upon the receipt of such funds from said source, said money will be returned to the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Deer Creek, and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-name fund sufficient to pay the obligation incurred herein, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of One Hundred Twenty-three Thousand Dollars ($123,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Deer Creek to be used for project costs for the construction of storm sewers in North Sappington Road No. 309 (S-2220, C-1291), in the City of Glendale, Missouri. Section Two. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted March 25, 1987. -2-
