AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Sixty-five Thousand Two
Hundred Fifty Dollars ($65,250.00) from the General Fund of the
District to be used for project costs for the construction of
storm sewers and retaining wall in Wappapello Lane No. 1011
(85173), in St. Louis County, Missouri.
WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of storm sewers
is Fifty-five Thousand Eight Hundred Eighteen and 50/100 Dollars
($55,818.50), and the cost of engineering, inspection,
construction staking, advertisement costs, easement charges, and
allowance for construction change orders is Nine Thousand Four
Hundred Thirty-one and 50/100 Dollars ($9,431.50), and
WHEREAS, the State of Missouri has agreed to contribute
Twenty-one Thousand Seven Hundred Fifty Dollars ($21,750.00)
toward the total costs of said project; upon the receipt of such
funds from said source, said money will be returned to the General
Fund of the District, and
WHEREAS, St. Louis County, Missouri, has agreed to
contribute Forty-three Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($43,500.00)
toward the total costs of said project; upon the receipt of such
funds from said source, said money will be returned to the General
Fund of the District, and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that
there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund
sufficient to pay the obligation incurred herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Sixty-five Thousand Two
Hundred Fifty Dollars ($65,250.00) is hereby appropriated from the
General Fund of the District to be used for the construction of
storm sewers and retaining wall in Wappapello Lane No. 1011
(85173), in St. Louis County, Missouri.
Section Two. This ordinance, being an appropriation
ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted March 25, 1987.
