An Ordinance to Appropriate Nine Thousand Eight Hundred
One Dollars ($9,801.00) From General Fund Cash Operating
to Board of Public Works and Safety, Current Charges,
General J-34 (5-53), Refunds, Awards, and Indemnities.
*EMS. certain extraordinary emergencies have developed since the adoption of the
existing annual budget so that it is now necessary to appropriate more money for the
various functions of the City Government than was appropriated in the annual budget.
SECTION 1. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RIGMID, INDIANNA,- that
for the expenses of the City Government and its institutions for the year cnutg Decem-
ber 31, 19 the following amount of money is hereby appropriated and set mart out of
the fund named and for the purpose specified. Said sum. being subject to al laws gov-
erning the same. Such amounts appropriated shall be held to include all expenditures
authorized to be made during the year, unless expressly stipulated by law.
SECTION 2. That for said fiscal period, there is hereby appropriated the following
specified amount to meet the extraordinary emergency hereby declared to exist:

SECTION 3. *01EAS, it has been shown that certain existing appropriations now have un-
obligated balances which will not be used for the purpose which appropriated.
IT IS TBEREFORE ORDAINED BY THE RIQff17NiD CM1ON COUNCIL that such unnecessary existing
appropriations be now reduced in amounts as follows, and the same appropriated to the
above named item(s):

SECTION 4. An extraordinary emergency exists for the above appropriation.
SECTION S. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage
and approval by the Mayor and is subject to the laws of the State of Indiana governing
emergency appropriations.
