AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Nineteen Thousand Three
Hundred Fifty Dollars ($19,350.00) from the Operation, Maintenance
and Construction Improvement Fund of Deer Creek to be used for
project costs for the construction of storm sewers in Country Life
Acres (86135), in the Village of Country Life Acres, Missouri.
WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of storm sewers
is Thirteen Thousand Nine Hundred Ninety-one Dollars ($13,991.00),
and the cost of engineering, inspection, construction staking,
advertisement costs, and allowance for construction change orders
is Five Thousand Three Hundred Fifty-nine Dollars ($5,359.00), and
WHEREAS, the State of Missouri has agreed to contribute
Six Thousand Four Hundred Fifty Dollars ($6,450.00) toward the
total costs of said project; upon the receipt of such funds from
said source, said money will be returned to the Operation,
Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Deer Creek, and
WHEREAS, the Village of Country Life Acres, Missouri,
has agreed to contribute Six Thousand Four Hundred Fifty Dollars
($6,450.00) toward the total costs of said project; upon the
receipt of such funds from said source said money will be returned
to the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of
Deer Creek, and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that
there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund
sufficient to pay the obligation incurred herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Nineteen Thousand Three
Hundred Fifty Dollars ($19,350.00) is hereby appropriated from the
Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Deer
Creek to be used for project costs for the construction of storm
sewers in Country Life Acres (86135), in the Village of Country
Life Acres, Missouri.
Section Two. This ordinance, being an appropriation
ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted March 25, 1987.
