AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Three Hundred Six Thousand
Dollars ($306,000.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and
Construction Improvement Fund of the University City Branch of
River des Peres to be used for project costs for the construction
of storm sewers in Raymond Ave. 6700 Block (86119), in the City of
Pagedale, Missouri.
WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of storm sewers
is Two Hundred Eighty-five Thousand Fifty-nine and 55/100 Dollars
($285,059.55), and the cost of inspection, construction staking,
advertisement costs, and allowance for construction change orders
is Twenty Thousand Nine Hundred Forty and 45/100 Dollars
($20,940.45), and
WHEREAS, the State of Missouri has agreed to contribute
One Hundred Two Thousand Dollars ($102,000.00) toward the total
costs of said project, upon the receipt of such funds from said
source, said money will be returned to the Operation, Maintenance
and Construction Improvement Fund of the University City Branch of
River des Peres, and
WHEREAS, the City of Pagedale, Missouri, has agreed to
contribute One Hundred Two Thousand Dollars ($102,000.00) toward
the total costs of said project; upon the receipt of such funds
from said source, said money will be returned to the Operation,
Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of the University
City Branch of River des Peres, and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that
there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund
sufficient to pay the obligation incurred herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Three Hundred Six Thousand
Dollars ($306,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Operation,
Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of the University
City Branch of River des Peres to be used for project costs for
the construction of storm sewers in Raymond Ave. 6700 Block
(86119), in the City of Pagedale, Missouri.
Section Two. This ordinance, being an appropriation
ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted March 25, 1987.
