AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Ninety-eight Thousand Two
Hundred Fifty Dollars ($98,250.00) from the Operation, Maintenance
and Construction Improvement Fund of Deer Creek to be used for
project costs for the construction of storm sewers in Foote &
Hammel Phase III & IV (S-2015, C-1301), in the City of Webster
Groves, Missouri.
WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of storm sewers
is Ninety Thousand Nine Hundred Sixty-six and 45/100 Dollars
($90,966.45), and the cost of inspection, construction staking,
advertisement costs, easement charges, and allowance for
construction change orders is Seven Thousand Two Hundred Eighty-
three and 55/100 Dollars ($7,283.55), and
WHEREAS, the State of Missouri has agreed to contribute
Thirty-two Thousand Seven Hundred Fifty Dollars ($32,750.00)
toward the total costs of said project; upon the receipt of such
funds from said source, said money will be returned to the
Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Deer
Creek, and
WHEREAS, the City of Webster Groves, Missouri, has
agreed to contribute Thirty-two Thousand Seven Hundred Fifty
Dollars ($32,750.00) toward the total costs of said project; upon
the receipt of such funds from said source, said money will be
returned to the Operation, Maintenance and Construction
Improvement Fund of Deer Creek, and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that
there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund
sufficient to pay the obligation incurred herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Ninety-eight Thousand Two
Hundred Fifty Dollars ($98,250.00) is hereby appropriated from the
Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Deer
Creek to be used for project costs for the construction of storm
sewers in Foote & Hammel Phase III & IV (S-2015, C-1301), in the
City of Webster Groves, Missouri.
Section Two. This ordinance, being an appropriation
ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted March 25, 1987.
