AN ORDINANCE, making a supplemental appropriation of
Nine Thousand Dollars ($9,000.00) from the Operation, Maintenance
and Construction Improvement Fund of Sugar Creek to be used for
additional project costs for the construction of storm sewers in
531 Goethe Storm Sewer Relief (S-2127, C-1265), in the City of
Kirkwood, Missouri.
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 6864, adopted November 19, 1986,
provided the initial funding for said project, and
WHEREAS, the State of Missouri has agreed to contribute
Three Thousand Dollars ($3,000.00) toward said additional costs of
said project; upon the receipt of such funds from said source,
said money will be returned to the Operation, Maintenance and
Construction Improvement Fund of Sugar Creek, and
WHEREAS, the City of Kirkwood, Missouri, has agreed to
contribute Three Thousand Dollars ($3,000.00) toward said
additional costs of said project; upon the receipt of such funds
from said source, said money will be returned to the Operation,
Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Sugar Creek, and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that
there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund
sufficient to pay the obligation incurred herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Nine Thousand Dollars
($9,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Operation, Maintenance
and Construction Improvement Fund of Sugar Creek to be used for
additional project costs for the construction of storm sewers in
531 Goethe Storm Sewer Relief (S-2127, C-1265), in the City of
Kirkwood, Missouri.
Section Two. This ordinance, being an appropriation
ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted March 25, 1987.
