AN ORDINANCE, authorizing and directing the Executive
Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St.
Louis Sewer District to extend its lease with the owners of
certain real property in St. Louis County, Missouri for the
purpose of maintaining thereon a sanitary sewage treatment
facility (the Meramec Bottom Lagoon), and to execute a Lease
Extension Agreement upon the terms and conditions hereinafter set
out.
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 5519, adopted February 8, 1984,
authorized the lease of said real property by The Metropolitan St.
Louis Sewer District,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The Executive Director and Secretary-
Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District
are hereby authorized and directed to extend its lease with
William J. Leitner and Virginia L. Leitner of certain real estate
located on Meramec Bottom Road in St. Louis County, Missouri for
the purpose of maintaining thereon a sanitary sewage treatment
facility, upon the terms and conditions hereinafter set out.
Section Two. The lease shall be extended for a period
of two years ending February 28, 1990, at the annual rental of
Three Thousand Eight Hundred Dollars ($3,800.00).
Section Three. The Executive Director and Secretary-
Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District
are hereby authorized and directed to execute a Lease Extension
Agreement giving effect to Sections One and Two hereof, and
embodying such other terms and conditions as approved by the
office of General Counsel.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted April 15, 1987.
