AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Forty-six Thousand Four
Hundred Sixty-eight and 77/100 Dollars ($46,468.77) from the
General Fund of the District to reimburse the City of Ballwin,
Missouri for funds expended by said City for the Smith Drive-
Fishpot Creek stormwater project.
WHEREAS, the funds herein appropriated represent money
received by the District pursuant to the State of Missouri
Stormwater Program, and
WHEREAS, after reimbursement, the City of Ballwin,
Missouri's share of the project cost will be Ninety-two Thousand
Nine Hundred Thirty-seven and 56/100 Dollars ($92,937.56), and
WHEREAS, the State of Missouri provided Forty-six
Thousand Four Hundred Sixty-eight and 77/100 Dollars ($46,468.77)
toward the project cost, and
WHEREAS, since the project is located in the annexed
area of the District, the District will not provide any funds
toward the cost of said stormwater project, and
WHEREAS, the total project cost for the Smith Drive-
Fishpot Creek stormwater project is One Hundred Thirty-nine
Thousand Four Hundred Six and 33/100 Dollars ($139,406.33), and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that
there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund
sufficient to pay the obligation incurred herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Forty-six Thousand Four
Hundred Sixty-eight and 77/100 Dollars ($46,468.77) is hereby
appropriated from the General Fund of the District to reimburse
the City of Ballwin, Missouri for funds expended by said City for
the Smith Drive-Fishpot Creek stormwater project.
Section Two. This ordinance, being an appropriation
ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted May 13, 1987.
