AN ORDINANCE, appropriating One Hundred Eight Thousand
Two Hundred Dollars ($108,200.00) from the Operation, Maintenance
and Construction Improvement Fund of Coldwater Creek to be used
for project costs for the construction of storm sewers in Flower
Creek (Phase II) Section II (87061), in St. Louis County,
Missouri.
WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of storm sewers
is Ninety-three Thousand Seven Hundred Four Dollars ($93,704.00),
and the cost of engineering, inspection, construction staking,
advertisement costs, easements charges, and allowance for
construction change orders is Fourteen Thousand Four Hundred
Ninety-six Dollars ($14,496.00), and
WHEREAS, St. Louis County, Missouri has agreed to
contribute Fifty-four Thousand One Hundred Dollars ($54,100.00)
toward the total costs of said project; upon the receipt of such
funds from said source, said money will be returned to the
Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of
Coldwater Creek, and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that
there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund
sufficient to pay the obligation incurred herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of One Hundred Eight Thousand Two
Hundred Dollars ($108,200.00) is hereby appropriated from the
Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of
Coldwater Creek to be used for project costs for the construction
of storm sewers in Flower Creek (Phase II) Section II (87061), in
St. Louis County, Missouri.
Section Two. This ordinance, being an appropriation
ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted May 13, 1987.
