AN ORDINANCE, appropriating One Hundred Sixty-five
Thousand Dollars ($165,000.00) from the General Fund of the
District to reimburse the Village of Twin Oaks, Missouri for the
State of Missouri's share of the project cost for the construction
of the Ann Avenue/Autumn Leaf Drive stormwater project in the
Village of Twin Oaks, Missouri,
WHEREAS, the funds herein appropriated represent money
to be received by the District pursuant to the State of Missouri
stormwater program, and
WHEREAS, the District will invoice the State for the
State's share of the project as the project is being built; and as
the State funds are received by the District, the Village of Twin
Oaks, Missouri will be reimbursed for the funds expended by said
Village for the Ann Avenue/ Autumn Leaf Drive stormwater project,
and
WHEREAS, after reimbursement, the Village of Twin Oaks,
Missouri's share of the project cost will be Three Hundred Thirty
Thousand Dollars ($330,000.00), and
WHEREAS, the State of Missouri will provide One Hundred
Sixty-five Thousand Dollars ($165,000.00) toward the project cost,
and
WHEREAS, since the project is located in the annexed
area of the District, the District will not provide any funds
toward the cost of said stormwater project, and
WHEREAS, the total project cost for the Ann
Avenue/Autumn Leaf Drive stormwater project will be Four Hundred
Ninety-five Thousand Dollars ($495,000.00), and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that
there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund
sufficient to pay the obligation incurred herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of One Hundred Sixty-five
Thousand Dollars ($165,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the
General Fund of the District to reimburse the Village of Twin
Oaks, Missouri the State of Missouri's share of the project cost
for the construction of the Ann Avenue/Autumn Leaf Drive
stormwater project.
Section Two. This ordinance, being an appropriation
ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted May 13, 1987.
