AN ORDINANCE, authorizing and directing The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District ("District") to sell and
convey certain real property of the District in the City of St.
Louis, Missouri, known and numbered as 8509 Virginia Avenue, and
prescribing the terms for said transaction.
WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 1771, adopted June 25, 1986,
said real property was declared as surplus in that it is no longer
necessary to the operations of the District.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The District is hereby authorized and
directed to sell and convey certain real property of the District
to Franklin D. Chambers, or his assigns, for the total sales price
of Twenty-five Thousand Two Hundred Fifty Dollars ($25,250.00),
said real property being located in the City of St. Louis,
Missouri and described as follows: Lot "B" of a Subdivision of part of Lots 12, 13 and 14 of KENRICK'S SUBDIVISION and in BLOCK 3221 of the City of St. Louis, according to a survey thereof executed by Clayton Surveying & Engineering Company of July 9, 1960, the plat of which is recorded in Survey Record 11 Page 29 of the St. Louis City Records, fronting 30 feet on the Western line of Virginia Avenue, by a depth Westwardly of 149.94 feet on the Northern line to the Western line of said Lot along which there is a width of 14.13 feet and 121.71 feet along the Southern line to the right-of-way of River des Peres along which there is a dimension of 32.38 feet.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-
Treasurer are hereby authorized and directed on behalf of The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to execute and deliver a
sales contract, general warranty deed and all other documents and
instruments necessary to implement said transaction.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted May 13, 1987.
