AN ORDINANCE, authorizing and directing The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District ("District") to enter into
an easement agreement with Mississippi River Transmission
Corporation ("MRTC") whereby the District will grant an easement
for a 10" gas pipeline under certain property in the City of St.
Louis, Missouri which is part of the District's Bissell Point
Wastewater Treatment Facility property.
WHEREAS, said pipeline was in use at the time the
District acquired said property and the granting of said easement
will not interfere with the District's intended use thereof,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT;
Section One. The District is hereby authorized and
directed to enter into an easement agreement with MRTC whereby the
District will grant an easement to MRTC to operate a 10" diameter
gas pipeline under certain real estate owned by the District and
located in Block 3323 in the City of St. Louis, Missouri.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-
Treasurer are hereby authorized and directed on behalf of the
District to execute and deliver an easement agreement and all
other documents and instruments necessary to give effect to
Section One hereof.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted May 27, 1987.
