AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Fourteen Thousand Six
Hundred Forty-one Dollars ($14,641.00) from the General Fund of
the District to reimburse the City of Manchester, Missouri for
funds expended by said City for the City-Wide Storm Inlet &
Structure Rehabilitation stormwater project.
WHEREAS, the funds herein appropriated represent money
received by the District pursuant to the State of Missouri
Stormwater Program, and
WHEREAS, after reimbursement, the City of Manchester,
Missouri's share of the project cost will be Twenty-nine Thousand
Two Hundred Eighty-four Dollars ($29,284.00), and
WHEREAS, the State of Missouri provided Fourteen
Thousand Six Hundred Forty-one Dollars ($14,641.00) toward the
project cost, and
WHEREAS, since the project is located in the annexed
area of the District, the District will not provide any funds
toward the cost of said stormwater project, and
WHEREAS, the total project cost for the City-Wide Storm
Inlet & Structure Rehabilitation stormwater project is Forty-three
Thousand Nine Hundred Twenty-five Dollars ($43,925.00).
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that
there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund
sufficient to pay the obligation incurred herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Fourteen Thousand Six Hundred
Forty-one Dollars ($14,641.00) is hereby appropriated from the
General Fund of the District to reimburse the City of Manchester,
Missouri for funds expended by said City for the City-Wide Storm
Inlet & Structure Rehabilitation stormwater project.
Section Two. This ordinance, being an appropriation
ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted June 10, 1987.
