AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Fifty-two Thousand Five
Hundred Thirty-three and 35/100 Dollars ($52,533.35) from the
General Fund of the District to reimburse the City of Bridgeton,
Missouri for funds expended by said City for the Avery Lane to
Lockport Drive stormwater project.
WHEREAS, the funds herein appropriated represent money
received by the District pursuant to the State of Missouri
Stormwater Program, and
WHEREAS, after reimbursement, the City of Bridgeton,
Missouri's share of the project cost will be One Hundred Five
Thousand Sixty-six and 70/100 Dollars ($105,066.70), and
WHEREAS, the State of Missouri provided Fifty-two
Thousand Five Hundred Thirty-three and 35/100 Dollars ($52,533.35)
toward the project cost, and
WHEREAS, since the project is located in the annexed
area of the District, the District will not provide any funds
toward the cost of said stormwater project, and
WHEREAS, the total project cost for the Avery Lane to
Lockport Drive stormwater project is One Hundred Fifty-seven
Thousand Six Hundred and 05/100 Dollars ($157,600.05), and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that
there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund
sufficient to pay the obligation incurred herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST.LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Fifty-two Thousand Five
Hundred Thirty-three and 35/100 Dollars ($52,533.35) is hereby
appropriated from the General Fund of the District to reimburse
the City of Bridgeton, Missouri for funds expended by said City
for the Avery Lane to Lockport Drive stormwater project.
Section Two. This ordinance, being an appropriation
ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted June 10, 1987.
