O R D I N A N C E NO. 7190
AN ORDINANCE, appropriating One Hundred Seventy-seven
Thousand Dollars ($177,000.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and
Construction Improvement Fund of Gravois Creek to be used for
project costs for the construction of storm sewers in Pardee Lane
Channel Improvements (86091), in the City of Crestwood, Missouri.
WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of storm sewers
is One Hundred Sixty-five Thousand Eight Hundred Fifty-five
Dollars ($165,855.00), and the cost of engineering, inspection,
construction staking, advertisement costs, and allowance for
construction change orders is Eleven Thousand One Hundred Forty-
five Dollars ($11,145.00), and
WHEREAS, the State of Missouri has agreed to contribute
Fifty-nine Thousand Dollars ($59,000.00) toward the total costs of
said project; upon the receipt of such funds from said source,
said money will be returned to the Operation, Maintenance and
Construction Improvement Fund of Gravois Creek, and
WHEREAS, the City of Crestwood, Missouri, has agreed to
contribute Fifty-nine Thousand Dollars ($59,000.00) toward the
total costs of said project; upon the receipt of such funds from
said source, said money will be returned to the Operation,
Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Gravois Creek,
and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that
there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund
sufficient to pay the obligation incurred herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of One Hundred Seventy-seven
Thousand Dollars ($177,000.0) is hereby appropriated from the
Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of
Gravois Creek to be used for project costs for the construction of
storm sewers in Pardee Lane Channel Improvements (86091), in the
City of Crestwood, Missouri.
Section Two. This ordinance, being an appropriation
ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted June 23, 1987.
