AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Two Hundred Seventy-nine
Thousand Three Hundred Dollars ($279,300.00) from the Fee Fee
Sewer Extension and Improvement Account to be used for project
costs for the construction of sanitary sewers in Ross and Merrick
Relief Sewer (85108), in St. Louis County, Missouri.
WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of said sanitary
sewers is Two Hundred Fifty-nine Thousand Ninety-nine Dollars
($259,099.00), and the costs of inspection, construction staking,
advertisement costs, easement charges, and allowance for
construction change orders is Twenty Thousand Two Hundred One
Dollars ($200,201.00), and
WHEREAS, a property owner to be served by said project
has agreed to contribute Twenty-eight Thousand Dollars
($28,000.00) toward the total costs of said project; upon the
receipt of such funds from said source, said money will be
returned to the Fee Fee Sewer Extension and Improvement Account,
and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that
there is an unencumbered balance in the above named fund
sufficient to pay the obligation incurred herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Two Hundred Seventy-nine
Thousand Three Hundred Dollars ($279,300.00) is hereby
appropriated from the Fee Fee Sewer Extension and Improvement
Account to be used for project costs for the construction of
sanitary sewers in Ross and Merrick Relief Sewer (85108), in St.
Louis County, Missouri.
Section Two. This ordinance, being an appropriation
ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted June 23, 1987.
