AN ORDINANCE, appropriating One Hundred Ninety-two
Thousand Four Hundred dollars ($192,400.00) from the Coldwater
Creek Sewer Extension and Improvement Account to be used for
project costs for the construction of sanitary sewers in Wabash
and Jackson Sanitary Relief Sewer Project (85107), in the City of
Berkeley, Missouri.
WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of said sanitary
sewers is One Hundred Seventy-eight Thousand Six Hundred Twenty-
nine Dollars ($178,629.00), and the cost of inspection,
construction staking, advertisement costs, easement charges, and
allowance for construction change orders is Thirteen Thousand
Seven Hundred Seventy-one Dollars ($13,771.00),and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that
there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund
sufficient to pay the obligation incurred herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of One Hundred Ninety-two
Thousand Four Hundred Dollars ($192,400.00) is hereby appropriated
from the Coldwater Creek Sewer Extension and Improvement Account
to be used for project costs for the construction of sanitary
sewers in Wabash and Jackson Sanitary Relief Sewer Project
(85107), in the City of Berkeley, Missouri.
Section Two. This ordinance, being an appropriation
ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted June 23, 1987.
