O R D I N A N C E NO. 7205
AN ORDINANCE, transferring One Hundred Two Thousand
Dollars ($102,000.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and
Construction Improvement Fund of North Affton to the Mississippi
River Operating Fund, and appropriating Four Hundred Two Thousand
Nine Hundred Dollars ($402,900.00) from the Mississippi River
Operating Fund to be used for project costs for the construction
of storm sewers in Heege Road Phase III (86114), in St. Louis
County, Missouri.
WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of storm sewers
is Three Hundred Seventy-seven Thousand Six Hundred Six and 80/100
Dollars ($377,606.80), and the cost of inspection, construction
staking, advertisement costs, easement charges, and allowance for
construction change orders is Twenty-five Thousand Two Hundred
Ninety-three and 20/100 Dollars ($25,293.20), and
WHEREAS, the State of Missouri has agreed to contribute
One Hundred Thirty-four Thousand Three Hundred Dollars
($134,300.00) toward the total costs of said project; upon the
receipt off such funds from said source, said money will be
returned to the Mississippi River Operating Fund, and
WHEREAS, St. Louis County, Missouri has agreed to
contribute One Hundred Thirty-four Thousand Three Hundred Dollars
($134,300.00) toward the total costs of said project; upon the
receipt of such funds from said source, said money will be
returned to the Mississippi River Operating Fund, and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that
there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund
sufficient to pay the obligation incurred herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of One Hundred Two Thousand
Dollars ($102,000.00) is hereby transferred from the Operation,
Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of North Affton to
the Mississippi River Operating Fund.
Section Two. The sum of Four Hundred Two Thousand Nine
Hundred Dollars ($402,900.00) is hereby appropriated from the
Mississippi River Operating Fund to be used for project costs for
the construction of storm sewers in Heege Road Phase III (86114),
in St. Louis County, Missouri.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation
ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted June 23, 1987.
