AN ORDINANCE, vacating any right, title or interest of
the District in First Street in Section 36, Township 45 North,
Range 4 East in the City of Manchester, St. Louis County,
Missouri.
WHEREAS, the owner of the subject property has agreed
to grant to the District a suitable alternate easement,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District
hereby vacates any right, title, or interest that it may have in
the following described vacated street: Beginning at the Northeast corner of a tract of land conveyed to Vito J. Scarfino, et al, by deed recorded in Book 7566, Page 292 of the St. Louis County Records, said point also being the Northwest corner of a tract of land conveyed to Robert Hutkins and wife by deed recorded in Book 6793, Page 878 of said records, also being a point in the South line of First Street, 40 feet wide, as shown on the plat of William Tripletts Addition to the Town of Manchester, recorded in Plat Book 1, Volume 1,, Page 45 of the City (former County) of St. Louis, Missouri Records; thence along the South line of First Street South 89 degrees 24 minutes 29 seconds West 227.40 feet to a point on the West line of First Street, being a point on the direct prolongation Southward of the West line of Lot 7 in Block 8 of William Tripletts Addition to the Town of Manchester, aforesaid thence along the West line of First Street and along said prolongation line North 10 degrees 12 minutes 29 seconds East 40.72 feet to the Southwest corner of said Lot 7; thence along the North line of First Street North 89 degrees 24 minutes 29 seconds East 219.77 feet; thence South 00 degrees 35 minutes 31 seconds East 40 feet to the point of beginning.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted July 16, 1987.
