AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Eighteen Thousand Nine
Hundred Ninety-nine Dollars ($18,999.00) from the General Fund of
the District to reimburse the City of Manchester, Missouri for
funds expended by said City for the Cloverleaf stormwater project.
WHEREAS, the funds herein appropriated represent money
received by the District pursuant to the State of Missouri
Stormwater Program, and
WHEREAS, after reimbursement, the City of Manchester,
Missouri's share of the project cost will be Thirty-eight Thousand
Dollars ($38,000.00), and
WHEREAS, the State of Missouri provided Eighteen
Thousand Nine Hundred Ninety-nine Dollars ($18,999.00) toward the
project cost, and
WHEREAS, since the project is located in the annexed
area of the District, the District will not provide any funds
toward the cost of said stormwater project, and
WHEREAS, the total project cost for the stormwater
project is Fifty-six Thousand Nine Hundred Ninety-nine Dollars
($56,999.00).
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that
there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund
sufficient to pay the obligation incurred herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Eighteen Thousand Nine Hundred
Ninety-nine Dollars ($18,999.00) is hereby appropriated from the
General Fund of the District to reimburse the City of Manchester,
Missouri for funds expended by said City for the Cloverleaf
stormwater project.
Section Two. This ordinance, being an appropriation
ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted July 16, 1987.
