AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Fifty Thousand Dollars
($50,000.00) from the General Fund of the District to reimburse
the Village of Twin Oaks, Missouri for funds expended by said
Village for the Ann Avenue-Autumn Leaf stormwater project.
WHEREAS, the funds herein appropriated represent money
received by the District pursuant to the St. Louis County $5
Million Bond Issue Program, and
WHEREAS, after reimbursement, the Village of Twin Oaks,
Missouri's share of the project cost will be Two Hundred Eighty
Thousand Dollars ($280,000.00), and
WHEREAS, the State of Missouri will provide One Hundred
Sixty-five Thousand Dollars ($165,000.00) toward the project cost,
and
WHEREAS, St. Louis County, Missouri provided Fifty
Thousand Dollars ($50,000.00) toward the project cost, and
WHEREAS, since the project is located in the annexed
area of the District, the District will not provide any funds
toward the cost of said stormwater project, and
WHEREAS, the total project cost for the Ann Avenue-
Autumn Leaf stormwater project is Four Hundred Ninety-five
Thousand Dollars ($495,000.00).
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that
there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund
sufficient to pay the obligation incurred herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Fifty Thousand Dollars
($50,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the General Fund of the
District to reimburse the Village of Twin Oaks, Missouri for funds
expended by said Village for the Ann Avenue-Autumn Leaf stormwater
project.
Section Two. This ordinance, being an appropriation
ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted July 16, 1987.
