AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Thirty-six Thousand Eight
Hundred Fifty Dollars ($36,850.00) from the Mississippi River
Operating Fund to be used for project costs for the rebuilding of
inlets and manholes, and replacing sewer pipe in Maintenance
Repairs No. 32C (85028), in the Cities of Country Club Hills,
Jennings, Pine Lawn, and unincorporated St. Louis County,
Missouri.
WHEREAS, the bid for the rebuilding of said inlets and
manholes, and replacing sewer pipe is Thirty-one Thousand Five
Dollars ($31,005.00), and the cost of engineering, inspection,
construction staking, advertisement costs, and allowance for
construction change orders is Five Thousand Eight Hundred Forty-
five Dollars ($5,845.00),
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that
there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund
sufficient to pay the obligation incurred herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Thirty-six Thousand Eight
Hundred Fifty Dollars ($36,850.00) is hereby appropriated from the
Mississippi River Operating Fund to be used for project costs for
the rebuilding of inlets and manholes, and replacing sewer pipe in
Maintenance Repairs No. 32C (85028), in the Cities of Country Club
Hills, Jennings, Pine Lawn, and unincorporated St. Louis County,
Missouri.
Section Two. This ordinance, being an appropriation
ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted September 9, 1987.
