AN ORDINANCE, appropriating One Hundred Twenty-nine
Thousand Nine Hundred Dollars ($129,900.00) from the Operation,
Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of LaVenta-LaSierra
to be used for project costs for the construction of storm sewers
in LaVenta-LaSierra Phase V (86122), in the City of Florissant,
Missouri.
WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of storm sewers
is One Hundred Twenty-one Thousand Two Hundred Seventeen Dollars
($121,217.00), and the cost of inspection, construction staking,
advertisement costs, and allowance for construction change orders
is Eight Thousand Six Hundred Eighty-three Dollars ($8,683.00),
and
WHEREAS, the State of Missouri has agreed to contribute
Forty-three Thousand Three Hundred Dollars ($43,300.00) toward the
total costs of said project; upon the receipt of such funds from
said source, said money will be returned to the Operation,
Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of LaVenta-LaSierra,
and
WHEREAS, the City of Florissant, Missouri, pursuant to
the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974, has agreed to
contribute Forty-three Thousand Three Hundred Dollars ($43,300.00)
toward the total costs of said project; upon the receipt of such
funds from said source, said money will be returned to the
Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of
LaVenta-LaSierra, and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that
there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund
sufficient to pay the obligation incurred herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of One Hundred Twenty-nine
Thousand Nine Hundred Dollars ($129,900.00) is hereby appropriated
from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund
of LaVenta-LaSierra to be used for project costs for the
construction of storm sewers in LaVenta-LaSierra Phase V (86122),
in the City of Florissant, Missouri.
Section Two. This ordinance, being an appropriation
ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted September 9, 1987.
