AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Eighty-five Thousand One
Hundred Dollars ($85,100.00) from the Mississippi River Operating
Fund to be used for project costs for the construction of a gabion
wall in Maintenance Repairs No. 136 (Kenwood Drive) S-2129, C-
1316, in the City of Northwoods, Missouri.
WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of said gabion
wall is Seventy-two Thousand Nine Hundred Twenty-four Dollars
($72,924.00), and the cost of engineering, inspection,
construction staking, advertisement costs, and allowance for
construction change orders is Twelve Thousand One Hundred Seventy-
six Dollars ($12,176.00).
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that
there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund
sufficient to pay the obligation incurred herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Eighty-five Thousand One
Hundred Dollars ($85,100.00) is hereby appropriated from the
Mississippi River Operating Fund to be used for project costs for
the construction of a gabion wall in Maintenance Repairs No. 136
(Kenwood Drive) S-2129, C-1316, in the City of Northwoods,
Missouri.
Section Two. This ordinance, being an appropriation
ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted September 9, 1987.
