AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING A "SPECIAL USE" IN M-1 LIGHT INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT
OF ORDINANCE NO. 2325-1968 COMMONLY KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE
CITY OF RICHMOND, INDIANA, APPROVED JUNE 3, 1968.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana, as
follows:
SECTION 1. As provided in Article 34, Section .014 of Ordinance No. 2325-
1968 commonly known as the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Richmond, Indiana,
the following described real estate is allowed as a Special Use to -wit:
Impounding Area more particularly described as followed:
Beginning at a point seven hundred forty-six and twenty-five hundredths (746.25)
feet south of and one thousand seven hundred sixty-eight and seventy-five
hundredths (1,768.75) feet east of a marked stone corner which is three (3)
rods east of and two sixty-four hundredths (2.64) rods south of the north-
west corner of the southeast quarter of Section thirty-one (31), Township
Fourteen (14), Range One (1) west, said beginning point being the west line
of Northwest 7th St. and the north line of Richmond Avenue; thence west
along the north line of Richmond Avenue a distance of two hundred seventy-
seven and three tenths (277.3) feet to the east line of Sedwick Street as
now laid out in the City of Richmond; thence north along the east line of
Sedwick Street extended north a distance of seven hundred forty-six and
twenty-five hundredths (746.25) feet to the south line of the right of way
line of the P.C.C. & St. L. R.R.; thence east along the south right of way
line of said railroad a distance of three hundred two and three tenths
(302.3) feet to the center line of Northwest 7th Street vacated; thence south
along the center line of said vacated Northwest 7th Street to the north line
ofChestnut Street; thence west along the north line of said Chestnut St. twenty-
five (25) feet to the west line of Northwest 7th Street; thence south along
said west line of Northwest 7th Street to the place of beginning, being lots
twelve (12) to thirty-three (33) inclusive in A. W. Gregg's Subdivision of
the Pleasant Hill Addition to the City of Richmond; also part of Tract
number five hundred ninety-one (591) of Official Map of City of Richmond,
including three vacated alleys and west half of vacated Northwest 7th Street;
also all that part of vacated Chestnut Street lying between Lots twenty-
seven (27) to thirty-three (33) in A. W. Gregg's Subdivision and Official
Tract No. five hundred ninety-one (591).
SECTION 2. As a condition of the aforesaid Special Use and as an additional
restriction on said use, the following requirements shall hereafter and at all
times be met by the owner, leasee or any person, firm or corporation using such
real estate.
(Conditions to be made following Plan Commission recommendations.)

SECTION 3. The Zoning Administrator of the City of Richmond, Indiana, is hereby
authorized and directed upon enactment and publication of this Ordinance, to
record and approve the issuance of a permit for the establishment of the use
herein allowed.
SECTION 4. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after
its passage and approval by the Mayor, and publication as by law required.
