AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Thirty-five Thousand
Thirty-one and 53/100 Dollars ($35,031.53) from the General Fund
of the District to reimburse the City of Sunset Hills, Missouri
for funds expended by said City for the Weber Hill Road stormwater
project.
WHEREAS, the funds herein appropriated represent money
received by the District pursuant to the State of Missouri
Stormwater Program, and
WHEREAS, after reimbursement, the City of Sunset Hills,
Missouri's share of the project cost will be Seventy Thousand
Sixty-three and 07/100 Dollars ($70,063.07), and
WHEREAS, the State of Missouri provided Thirty-five
Thousand Thirty-one and 53/100 Dollars ($35,031.53) toward the
project cost, and
WHEREAS, since the project is located in the annexed
area of the District, the District will not provide any funds
toward the cost of said stormwater project, and
WHEREAS, the total project cost for the stormwater
project is One Hundred Five Thousand Ninety-four and 60/100
Dollars ($105,094.60).
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that
there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund
sufficient to pay the obligation incurred herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Thirty-five Thousand Thirty-
one and 53/100 Dollars ($35,031.53) is hereby appropriated from
the General Fund of the District to reimburse the City of Sunset
Hills, Missouri for funds expended by said City for the Weber Hill
Road stormwater project.
Section Two. This ordinance, being an appropriation
ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted October 29, 1987.
