AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Two Hundred Twenty Thousand
Dollars ($220,000.00) from the General Fund of the District to
reimburse St. Louis County, Missouri for the State of Missouri's
share of the project cost for the construction of the Tesson Ferry
Road and Dorsie Drive stormwater project in unincorporated St.
Louis County, Missouri,
WHEREAS, the funds herein appropriated represent money
to be received by the District pursuant to the State of Missouri
stormwater program, and
WHEREAS, the District will invoice the State for the
State's share of the project as the project is being built; and as
the State funds are received by the District, St. Louis County,
Missouri will be reimbursed for the funds expended by said County
for the Tesson Ferry Road and Dorsie Drive stormwater project, and
WHEREAS, after reimbursement, St. Louis County,
Missouri's share of the project cost will be Six Hundred Forty-
eight Thousand Seventy-seven Dollars ($648,077.00), and
WHEREAS, the State of Missouri will provide Two Hundred
Twenty Thousand Dollars ($220,000.00) toward the project cost,
and
WHEREAS, since the project is located in the annexed
area of the District, the District will not provide any funds
toward the cost of said stormwater project, and
WHEREAS, the total project cost for the Tesson Ferry
Road and Dorsie Drive stormwater project will be Eight Hundred
Sixty-eight Thousand Seventy-seven Dollars ($868,077.00), and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that
there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund
sufficient to pay the obligation incurred herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Two Hundred Twenty Thousand
Dollars ($220,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the General Fund
of the District to reimburse St. Louis County, Missouri the State
of Missouri's share of the project cost for the construction of
the Tesson Ferry Road and Dorsie Drive stormwater project.
Section Two. This ordinance, being an appropriation
ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted October 29, 1987.
