AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Forty-five Thousand Two
Hundred Fifty Dollars ($45,250.00) from the Operation, Maintenance
and Construction Improvement Fund of Clayton Central to be used
for project costs for the construction of sanitary sewers in
Maintenance Repairs No. 56 Linden Avenue Sanitary Sewer (85158),
in the Cities of Clayton and University City, Missouri.
WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of said sanitary
sewers is Forty-one Thousand Four Hundred Ninety-nine Dollars
($41,499.00), and the cost of inspection, construction staking,
advertisement costs, and allowance for construction change orders
is Three Thousand Seven Hundred Fifty-one Dollars ($3,751.00),
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that
there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund suffi-
cient to pay the obligation incurred herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Forty-five Thousand Two
Hundred Fifty Dollars ($45,250.00) is hereby appropriated from the
Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of
Clayton Central to be used for project costs for the construction
of sanitary sewers in Maintenance Repairs No. 56 Linden Avenue
Sanitary Sewer (85158), in the Cities of Clayton and University
City, Missouri.
Section Two. This ordinance being an appropriation
ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted October 29, 1987.
