AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Fifty Thousand Dollars
($50,000.00) from the General Fund of the District to reimburse
the City of Ellisville, Missouri for funds expended by said City
for the Fishpot Creek Phase III North Leg stormwater project.
WHEREAS, the funds herein appropriated represent money
received by the District pursuant to the State of Missouri
Stormwater Program, and
WHEREAS, after reimbursement, the City of Ellisville,
Missouri's share of the project cost will be One Hundred Twenty-
one Thousand Five Hundred Twenty-seven and 86/100 Dollars
($121,527.86), and
WHEREAS, the State of Missouri provided Fifty Thousand
Dollars ($50,000.00) toward the project cost, and
WHEREAS, since the project is located in the annexed
area of the District, the District will not provide any funds
toward the cost of said stormwater project, and
WHEREAS, the total project cost for the Fishpot Creek
Phase III North Leg stormwater project is One Hundred Seventy-one
Thousand Five Hundred Twenty-seven and 86/100 Dollars
($171,527.86).
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that
there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund
sufficient to pay the obligation incurred herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Fifty Thousand Dollars
($50,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the General Fund of the
District to reimburse the City of Ellisville, Missouri for funds
expended by said City for the Fishpot Creek Phase III North Leg
stormwater project.
Section Two. This ordinance, being an appropriation
ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted December 23, 1987.
