AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Eighty-one Thousand Seven
Hundred Dollars ($81,700.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and
Construction Improvement Fund of The Seminary Branch of River des
Peres to be used for project costs for the construction of
sanitary sewers in Southwoods Relief (87132), in the City of
Shrewsbury, Missouri.
WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of said sanitary
sewers is Sixty-nine Thousand Six Hundred Sixty-two and 40/100
Dollars ($69,662.40), and the cost of engineering, inspection,
construction staking, advertisement costs, and allowance for
construction change orders is Twelve Thousand Thirty-seven and
60/100 Dollars ($12,037.60),
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that
there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund
sufficient to pay the obligation incurred herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Eighty-one Thousand Seven
Hundred Dollars ($81,700.00) is hereby appropriated from the
Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of The
Seminary Branch of River des Peres to be used for project costs
for the construction of sanitary sewers in Southwoods Relief
(87132), in the City of Shrewsbury, Missouri.
Section Two. This ordinance, being an appropriation
ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted December 23, 1987.
