HomeMy Public PortalAbout07366 O R D I N A N C E NO. 7366 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Twenty-nine Thousand Two Hundred Fifty Dollars ($29,250.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Paddock Creek to be used for project costs for the construction of storm sewers in North Waterford No. 3160 (87117), in the City of Florissant, Missouri. WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of storm sewers is Twenty-four Thousand Seven Hundred Fifty-six Dollars ($24,756.00), and the cost of engineering, inspection, construction staking, advertisement costs, easement fees, and allowance for construction change orders is Four Thousand Four Hundred Ninety-four Dollars ($4,494.00), and WHEREAS, the State of Missouri has agreed to contribute Nine Thousand Seven Hundred Fifty Dollars ($9,750.00) toward the total costs of said project; upon the receipt of such funds from said source, said money will be returned to the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Paddock Creek, and WHEREAS, the City of Florissant, Missouri has agreed to contribute Nine Thousand Seven Hundred Fifty Dollars ($9,750.00) toward the total costs of said project; upon the receipt of such funds from said source, said money will be returned to the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Paddock Creek, and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation incurred herein, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of Twenty-nine Thousand Two Hundred Fifty Dollars ($29,250.00) is hereby appropriated from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Paddock Creek to be used for project costs for the construction of storm sewers in North Waterford No. 3160 (87117), in the City of Florissant, Missouri. Section Two. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted January 13, 1988. -2-
